INTP and Perpetual Stress
INTP’s, like ENTP’s wait until the last minute trying to avoid stressful situations. If they can’t avoid the stressor then they become very anxious. INTP’s often have difficulty asking others for help and would rather suffer in silence alone. Upon realizing they are stressed, they have difficulty dealing with the stressors because they would rather ignore the problems (like ISTP’s). Here are some suggestions that may be helpful for INTP’s: Don’t wait until the last minute to deal with things and people; this will reduce your daily stress and improve overall functioning. Focus on the happy things in your life if you cannot control specific external factors. Even though you loathe routine and predictability you enjoy stability and want to know things will be okay. In order to have this you need a certain amount of structure in your life. This will help reduce the stress and deal with unwanted situations.
