Rebecca seems like a strong to moderate ESFJ. Whereas ESFJ’s can look different depending on circumstances, Rebecca is responsible, caring, and independent. She is quite bossy and when she wants to be – quite demanding. She’s the organized wife and mother who wants to ensure the well-being of her children, as should every mother. She is a protector, prepared to defend and support her children and husband (well most of the time – Kevin was a handful as she expressed emotionally during the family group counseling session when he went to rehab by stating Randall was “easier”).
Rebecca’s mother was extremely critical and strongly disapproved of the husband she chose. Rebecca did not go along with her mother’s disapproval and made her own decision. Rebecca wants to make sure her children are making the right decisions. She’s concrete and literal and knows how to be assertive, standing up for what she believes in.
