NF Types

The four types: ENFP; INFP; ENFJ; INFJ

Intuitive-feeling types are the most rare. That’s why they often have trouble connecting with other people because they often feel judged, misunderstood, and left out. In a world leading with sensing types they may have difficulty functioning on a daily basis. A lot of NF’s have successfully adapted to their environments around them even though it has been a challenge.

NF’s are usually empathetic individuals who strongly dislike conflict and injustices. They typically enjoy volunteering for social justice causes and seek careers that allow them to express their values and mission to help others. Although enjoying the arts is not exclusive to NF’s, they most often take music, artwork, writing, and drama to a different level.

NF’s often have difficulty expressing what they’re thinking and how they’re feeling in words. They are excellent with helping others navigate their feelings yet when it comes to their own, they may have trouble vocalizing their sentiments.  Most of the time they know exactly what’s going on, how they’re feeling, and how to manage it (if in a healthy state), but being able to communicate those feelings to others may be a challenge due to their naturally intuitive nature. This makes it difficult for them to describe their thoughts in words because it often comes out sounding like a foreign language to others. This is why they make great artists because you can see and feel the passion in their work.

NFP’s are very easy to get along with because they are fun and highly creative. To some people they may come across ditzy but they’re actually not, they may have difficulty relating to other people because of their unique set of preferences and trying to fit into a society that does not appreciate their skill-set.

NFJ’s are some really interesting beings – in a good way. If you are not close to them, they can fool others by appearing to be sensing types (and sometimes even thinking types).  Many NFJ ‘s will not open up unless they trust you.
