INFJ Love Matches
INFJ’s are extremely picky with their romantic partners. They may have a wide range of friendships but when it comes to dating – not likely. They are best paired with other NF or NT types (with the exception of an INTP or ENTJ). I would never suggest an INFJ to date an ESTJ, ESTP, ISTJ, or ISTP because of the amount of conflict it could cause. The traditional matches from the Myers Briggs include ENTP or ENFP with the runner up being an INTJ. If an ENTP is not mature (or vice versa – the INFJ) then it will create a nightmare. That match only works if both are mature and willing to work through their differences. An ENFP is a good match on paper for an INFJ as long as the ENFP does not get on the INFJ’s nerves with their “P” characteristics.
Honestly I believe a better match altogether for the very strong/strong INFJ would be an ENFJ. The reason why is because the “NFJ” functioning allows them to have a solid relationship that creates the security and authenticity an INFJ is seeking. Any high “T” personalities would create stress and potentially foster a volatile relationship because INFJ’s are sensitive and need space to process their feelings openly and privately. Most higher “T” personalities often become fed-up with the emotional intensity of an INFJ and have a difficult time meeting the needs of an INFJ personality.
